ESPRU-led projects funded by the Annual Giving Programme Distribution at the University of Birmingham have led to the establishment of a thermal sensing lab at GEES. The lab contains thermal imaging cameras, ibutton thermocron temperature and humidity measurement devices, and plug load meters.
The lab is freely available for student and staff use – the above image was taken in Birmingham by a student researching the thermal efficiency of residential housing in the context of energy use patterns among young people.
